MEET THE TRAINER

LOWELL SPANGLER

Lowell has 25+ years of riding experience. His racing career started in District 6 in 1996, and quickly grew to traveling all over the US racing every major event they could get to. As a young amateur racer, he qualified for Loretta Lynns every year from 1999-2010. He’s a multi time District 6 Champion, along with many state championships and Area/Regional Championships. He raced for Team Green Kawasaki on their Elite Team from 2006-2010. He graduated amateur racing in 2010 after finishing 2nd overall in 450A/Pro Sport and 4th overall in 250 A/Pro Sport at Loretta Lynns National Championship. He raced 1 Pro Motocross race in 2010 at Steel City Raceway. After crashing in the first turn both motos and still finished 16-20 for 20th overall in his first professional race. He earned the National number 96 for the 2011 season with his finish from Steel City.

He raced pro motocross from the end of 2010-2013. In 2013 he unfortunately had a career ending injury and was forced to retire from professional racing. He had some great results, and even though his pro career ended in 2013, he continues to ride and occasionally race local events. Most recently racing vet classes at the local and amateur national level.

He started coaching riders because he extremely passionate about the sport of motocross and wants to give back as much as he can to a sport he loves so much!

He has a background in cycling and racing BMX, and has recently completed classes to become a personal trainer through the United States Motorcycle Coaching Association.

Aside from riding/racing and cycling, he enjoys working out and living a healthy lifestyle. We are extremely excited to have Lowell on board the team, and to watch our facility grow!
